May I Say.
May I say, when the third month of spring presents itself, I expect warmth and t-shirts, not clouds and despair. I would very much like to see the sun, any day now.
I finished my book. Very enjoyable, and nice to get a bit of background to the formation of the new testament. The claims of the Da Vinci code that it was only formed at the council of Nicea are quite sketchy, and it was interesting to view the canon's acknowledgment years before the council was even formed. Additionally, the claim the alternative 'gospels' should be read alongside those in the bible is honestly, one of the worst arguments I've ever hear in any form of study, but I won't write about that now, that's for smarter men than I.
I'm disappointed I never have anything deep and meaningful to write about. This upsets me greatly, because a favourite hobby of every human is to compare ourselves to others. As Don Miller would say, we argue why we should be in the lifeboat. Hmm.
It's upsetting to me that although I looked forward to doing nothing for four months, (yes, four, I go back to school late February), I need a hobby to occupy my time. Or, at least, until my other friends finish university studies and exams.
Anyway. More meaningful posts shall come soon enough.
